Tips for Exhibitors |
- You will need a simple receipt book because you are going to sell a lot of paintings. Get one at Office Depot or other office supplier
- Have LOTS of business cards at hand and a windproof holder for them…give them out freely.
- Be sure you keep your customers’ addresses and email addresses for your mailing list, which I hope you will be kind enough to share with W.A.G.
- Have a clipboard and a pad of paper for people to sign in at the table in your booth.
- Booth Supplies: Don’t forget a comfortable chair. wire, clothes line, scissors, knife, pliers, hammer, screwdriver and duct tape
- Be sure to bring lots of sun screen and bug spray and a bottle of drinking water.
- Wear layers of clothing. At this time of year the temperature variations are great so it's best to be prepared
- Bring your cell phone. That's how you get to artist's relief, BUT don't hang on the phone in front of potential customers. They are where your sales are!
- Talk to everyone who comes in! Big smiles, good energy… assume it is your living room and they are your good friends.
- Everyone is a potential customer, if not today then, tomorrow… so try to connect.
