17th Annual Wilmette Festival of Fine Arts September 15 & 16, 2007 - New date and location!

After 16 years of wonderful growth, the Wilmette Festival of Fine Arts is moving back to downtown Wilmette and changing from mid-July to mid-September while retaining many of its best attributes of years past. It will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16, 2007 in the spacious north end of the Metra train parking lot, right in the center of Wilmette's autumn weekend activity!

Check-in for artists begins at 8 PM Friday, when exhibitors may pick up their show packets, receive their space assignment, and begin set-up. As in previous years, professional security will be provided both Friday and Saturday nights. Festival hours will remain the same as last year, 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and 10 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. The complimentary Sunday morning Artists' Awards Breakfast will again be provided by the WAG Festival Committee. Ribbons and monetary awards representing the judges' choices in a number of categories will again be presented in a public ceremony rather than being distributed on Saturday afternoon at individual artists' tents.
